Did you know that garlic is rich in antioxidants, which help destroy free radicals? That garlic may help prevent heart disease and even slow down hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis), lower blood pressure, between 7% and 8%. Garlic may strengthen the immune system, which in turn helps the body fight diseases such as the big ‘ C’.
In one study people who ate more raw or cooked garlic were less likely to develop certain types of cancer, particularly colon and stomach cancers. Yes, the study indicated that there was a 30% reduction in risk of colorectal cancer among people who ate a lot of raw or cooked garlic.
Sorry, but taking the pill form does not seem to have the same effect.
All in all that tiny white bulb can give a powerful punch. I don’t know about you, but I do love the aroma of cooking garlic, and let me not ignore garlic’s contribution to flavor. OK, the smell of garlic, on ones person, can come off just a mighty strong. I mean it does not repel vampires for nothing!
Here is a simple recipe that calls for garlic. Now depending how much you love garlic will depend on how much you use, in any recipe, but in my book you can never over use garlic.
Garlic Shrimp
2 lbs jumbo raw shrimp
2 2/3 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves
2 tsbp fresh parsley
Sea salt to taste
Clean rinse and pat dry shrimp. Mince garlic. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet to medium high heat and saute garlic for about 1 minute. Add shrimp, cook until shrimp turn pink, about 3 -4 minutes. Be sure not to overcook. Serve sprinkled with fresh parsley and sea salt.

Are you worried about that morning cup of Joe (coffee) you are drinking? Worried that it may be harmful to your health.
Well worry no more. You can have a cup ,or two, and maybe even three cups of coffee a day! You have no GROUNDS to be concerned about your health. GROUNDS…LOL!
How do I know this? I know this because the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) say so…
Caffeine is not harmful! Yes they said,” Not harmful.”
How happy am I to have read this. For I, along with million of other coffee drinkers need CAFFEINE , especially first thing in the morning.Really, at times I think I need to literally swim in a cup of coffee to feel awake, at times.
AICR reports that caffeine is not likely to affect any risk of cancer, i.e kidney and pancreatic cancer, and recent studies have now shown that caffeine cannot be even linked to heart disease.
But the real question is, how much caffeine can one consume as a healthy person? I know if I drink too much coffee I become jittery and have heart palpitations, and if I drink it too late in the evening it will most definitely cause me to have difficulty in sleeping ( I love my sleep so this is not good ) I only drink about 2 cups of coffee in the morning and call it a day…Of course I drink coffee after I have my cup of tea…so back to the question.
How much caffeine can one consume?
AICR says that a moderate amount of caffeine is good (for a healthy person). Moderate is defined as 250-300 milligrams (mg) per day, this equals:
And guess what? Caffeinated drinks are not dehydrating …YIPPEE! I have always thought they were…see the caffeine’s diuretic effect is counter balanced by the fluid we get as we drink coffee or tea. However, it is still a very good idea to drink water during the day, but drinking extra, because you are drinking coffee, is not necessary…I don’t know about you but when I drink coffee I need extra water…but that is just me.
So Perk up, Coffee and the Caffeine is a good mix…now excuse me while I pour me another cup of Joe…

How To Measure for a Perfect Fitting Bra
While braless or wearing a non-padded bra, measure around the bottom of the band, directly under your bust. The measuring tape should be level and very snug. Round to the nearest whole number. If the number is even, add four inches. If it’s odd, add five. Your band size is the sum of this calculation. (So if you measured 32 inches, your band size is 36. If you measured 33 inches, your band size is 38.)
Wrap the measuring tape somewhat loosely around the fullest part of your chest (at nipple level). Round to the nearest whole number.
Subtract your band size from your bust measurement and refer to chart. Example: 37 inches (bust) – 34 inches (band) = 3 inches. That’s a 34C.
