Our military men and women come home with many wounds, some not so visible and PTSD is one of those wounds that are not so visible. It’s a wound of the mind.
The injuries that plaque the mind are always the most difficult to heal, their effects reverberate throughout, touching everyone who comes in contact with the individual.
T. Jacira Paolino wrote “The Grizzly Bear’s Eyelash“to show the need for patience when dealing with unseen injuries.
