The Gym and The People

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of attending a fundraising event…the event raised money for a very good cause… Autism…Now just let me explain something,  I am not one to go out during a work week, but everyone from the gym was going and I thought why not it was for a good cause.

It was held in a club called Sugar with open bar from 7-10pm…We all had a very cool night.

It was fun to see us all in different surroundings and in different attire…I must really look bad when I go to the gym, for not one person recognized me, and when they realized who I was the shocked look ,and the OMG you look Fabulous girl statements , made me rethink my gym appearance.

But I realized after a while that we all looked  fabulously different…make-up, combed hair, and clothes and we all looked like Cinderella. My daughter is standing in the background…I loved the way my gym girls loved to smile for the camera.Come on girls, and boys, let’s not ham it up too much…I really don’t  know their names…it so funny. Now that is me hiding behind my gym girls  with my daughter, Erica. This is Catherine, one of my gym instructors…I loved her dress especially the color…Gee ,,Catherine you sure know how to get dolledHere I am with Cami and…sorry I really don’t know their names…I cannot help but laugh…see you don’t have to know someones name to be their friends…at least I think so….Oh, Cami is my Pilates instructor…Now here he is…BERNIE!!  Bernie was the reason we all were there, Bernie is a true blue trainer…The thing I love about Bernie is, well he is not easy on any of his trainees and you certainly never want him to know your name…Why?  Because during class if he sees that you are not putting any effort in let’s say squats, you can always be sure he will be screaming out your name to correct the problem…Yes, Bernie is truly something else…but all I can say is, Thank You Bernie, you have made  me stronger and have given me a new group of friends…
