About the Author – Jingmai O’Connor is second generation Chines and third generation Irish. Grew up in Pasadena, CA, just outside of Los Angeles, and is currently the Associate Curator of Fossil Reptiles (aka the “dinosaur curator’) at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
