What’s In The Box @Stitchfix #WhatIWore

Just received my Spring StitchFix box and it included 4 tops and a dress. Truth be told I kept the whole box. Here are my favorite pieces from the haul. So love the Colbalt color of this Eralia Bell Sleeve Blouse by WEST KEI.

Never could say no to a red blouse ~ Zahari Split Neck Top by Fun2Fun  has me ready for the warmer weather ahead.

I ended up giving my niece the Kelton Brushed Knit Dress by French Grey, it was just too short for me, but how adorable is Sandra in this dress!!

Old Fashioned Bread Pudding #GroovinEats #TastyTuesday

We had so much left over bread at Easter that I froze most of it. Wondering what to do with all the bread I decided to make a bread pudding.

2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar ~  I used Nielsen-Massey Pure Vanilla Sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 cups soft bread cubes (about 6 slices bread)
1/2 cup raisins – optional ~  I used a banana and a 1/2 C fresh blueberries because that’s what I had
Whipping (heavy) cream – optional

PREHeat oven to 350ºF. In 2-quart saucepan, heat milk and butter over medium heat until butter is melted and milk is hot.
In large bowl, mix eggs, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir in bread cubes and raisins. Stir in milk mixture. Pour into ungreased deep round pan.
Bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Serve warm with whipping cream.

My Pet Peeve by Renee Rodgers Barstack #bookworm

My Pet Peeve by Renee Rodgers Barstack is an educational story that teaches the importance of being tolerant of others and is also a good problem-solving learning tool for children, college students and all of us really.   Especially now  in the age we are living  today. You don’t have to agree on anything to be kind to one another. Everyone will love Molly and Munchkin.
