John’s Pizza On Broadway
It is not so difficult to gather everyone and go out to dinner. Well, not so difficult as long it is in your own neighborhood. But when you are going to to a play in NYC, on meatless Friday, well that makes it more than difficult.
Instead of blindly looking for a place to eat in Manhattan, Erin asked her sister-in-law, who happens to be a frequent visitor of the Broadway area, to recommend a good place to eat fast and eat good, and also eat meatless. Her sister-in-law recommended John’s Pizza. So off we went, before the play, to John’ s Pizza.
A simple pizza dinner did become the choice of the evening , in spite of my husband’s, I don’t want to eat pizza routine. He was soooo out voted.
As my parent’s review the menu, they take in the surroundings. See ,John’s Pizza was a church and it still had a church feel and look.
It is always a good thing when Christian keeps himself entertained. The i-phone always manages to keep him busy, he plays the games and slides through all the pictures and videos on the phone…keeping Christian quiet, and busy, I think there is an app for that.

John’s brick oven pizza was delicious. We order three large pies, plain, peppers and onions, and meatballs. Yes, I did say no meat Fridays didn’t I. The meat pie was for my husband. He just cannot give anything up…
We also had to have a salad..
But the best part of the meal was the dessert.
Christian loved his bear ice cream and I enjoyed the rice pudding.
I was suppose to share the pudding with Erin, but she only took a few spoonfuls, then I had eating the whole thing. Which I did with no problem. 🙂
When we all finished eating we quickly packed the kids up and headed down the block…our next stop was a Broadway show… The Lion King…
