Christian at the Park

Here is Christian…looks like he is ready to take a nap.  Well, don’t let him fool you he was just gathering his energy to take control of  the PARK!

Christian and I left his sister at school and we both went to the park.  I really couldn’t wait to watch his little face light up with ,you know, the joy of being in the Park…the day was so beautiful, the sun and the blue skies were certainly cooperating…wish Christian did the same. Here is how Christian went to the park.  See Christian climbed out of his crib or more like fell out of his crib.   So he had some bruising on his nose, as you can see.  What I did not realize was that he also had chocolate ice cream around his mouth, I could have sworn I wipe his face nice and clean, guess I did not do a good job.

So it explained why one mother, in the park, asked me in total horror, “What happened to him?”  I calmly responded,  “He fell out of his crib.” What was the big deal, I mean the way she asked me ,  I could not understand why she had a look of disgust on her face.  After she walked away I took a good look at Christian, Oh #?!#, his face was still dirty from the chocolate ice cream my father had given him.  I quickly took him to the bathroom and washed the chocolate from his face.  Now he looked liked a kid who just fell out of his crib, not a kid who just fell off the top of the monkey bars.Ok, lets get started.  I took him on the swing.  They always love the swing, not Christian.  He got bored just swinging up and down.  He immediately showed his displeasure, this park thing was not working out for me…his sister used to sit in the swing for hours and just smile. So I let him down from the swing and where does he run to? He runs to this climbing bar.  He is only 17 months old, he cannot climb up this bar.  No way! Yet , he was going up these bars!   With my heart in my stomach and my hands on his little body Christian got up to the top, all along smiling with every accomplished step, I did not have a smiling face, more like a fearful face.Once he got to the top he began to take charge.  The slide was fun, but why did he have to climb it backwards… talk about not conforming to the rules…Christian wanted to either crawl up the slide or walk down it…either way it did not work for me.Oh,no! Now he approaches some little girls…what will he do?  Car…he wanted the car the little girl had…No, Christian not your car!!!

What is he thinking about doing now???

Christian taking a break…only a temporary break, mind you…he is just recharging his batteries…see Christian is the human energizing bunny.
