I was so happy to read about the Albany NYS workers who get to share the $319 million Mega Million prize. You see, I am in a Lotto Family at work. Every week about 26 of us, hand over $2.00 to Jill, the offical office Lotto Lady. We have been doing this for over 20 years. It’s gotten to the point, that whenever anyone passes through our office, the first words out of their mouth is, what do I owe you. Jill?? Usually she’ll say $2.00 but sometimes she’ll say $6.00 today…I missed you the last few times. There is enough winning lotto money in kitty to cover if someone is not in that week. Every Tuesday, Jill goes across the street and picks up the Mega Million Lotto tickets for the week. A dollar and a dream. So when we heard that there was a winner in New York, we got so excited to be so close, I mean how great must that be? And really it could just as well have been us….I will glady train my replacement for a month free of charge!!……. maybe it’ll be our turn soon…….hey, you never know.
