Lola’s Kitchen & Wine Bar was the pick this year for dinner and drinks in celebration of my sister’s birthday. Dining at Lola’s was a first event for myself, Liz and Maryann, Liz’s sister. When we arrived I was immediately impressed with Lola’s Kitchen.
We really liked the wicker seating by the bar area or waiting area.
As soon as we sat down, Liz and I ordered a Martini, straight up, shaken not stirred, with three olives. The Martini was shaken to perfection, we complimented the bartender and twisted our arms to order another one…My sister, she had a Cappuccino Martini and Maryann had wine…they liked their drinks, but the original Martini was truly the best.
After all the raving about our drink, Maryann decided take a taste…
UGH!! Martini’s for Maryann will never happen…vino will still be her choice of drink.
So with drinks in our hands we raised them to meet…a toast to you on this special day.
Our best wishes and blessings!
Our waitress at Lola’s as sweet as can be.
The first thing they gave us was this appetizing treat…the chips were warm and tasted fresh…can we have more? Please.
Check out the chicken stuffed with goat cheese…I love goat cheese, and now I love it with chicken. I will be looking for a recipe so I can make it myself. Hey, maybe Liz will do a video now that would be great. Check out the pulled pork that was seriously delicious.
We ate and we ate. The left overs came home.
But the best of the feast was certainly the dessert. Lola’s gave our eyes a preview of their choices. They looked so good we wanted to say,”Will take them all.” But we showed some restraint and narrowed it down to two, cheesecake and pecan pie. We ate every morsel, soooo good!!
They came to sing, you know that birthday song.
My sister was happy that her birthday dinner went well…thanks to Lola’s Kitchen we four will be back for more.
