When my granddaughter sleeps over I have to hide all my lipsticks. For she always manages to grab one and proceed to put it on like it is something every 6 year old needs to do.
I am always telling her that her lips do not need any lipstick, since they are already naturally rosy red. Of course, this goes in one little ear and out right out the other little ear.
A morning battle is not what I sign up for, I did that scene with my daughter. So with my grand daughter I allow her to get lipsticked up, but , I make sure that it is a lipstick that I don’t use. She does have a favorite lipstick and it happens to be a sample lipstick, from Avon. I always give her all my sample lipsticks, so she thinks that they are special for her.
She kills me! When she puts lipstick on Sophie manages to get it right on her lips, a lot better than me I need a lip liner to get it straight.
I had a hard time this particular morning. See she could not find her special lipstick. I had no idea what happened to that tiny lipstick. But it did not dampen Sophie’s start to the day. For she find another one of my lipsticks and made sure that it ended up on her lips. So I guess Sophie does not really have one special lipstick.
It appears that all of my lipsticks are her special ones.
