Sisters

Maryann, Liz’s sister, just turned 60.  Yippee!

Since this birthday was considered a special birthday the four of us went to a special restaurant.

We all went to Via Trenta in Astoria, Queens.  It was pricey but money well spent.

The food was delicious and different.

In case you are not aware, Marlene is my sister, and Maryann is Liz’s sister.   Yet, when you shuffle the four of us up you could not tell who is whose  sister.

I tell you it is always interesting when the four of us gather.

You just never know when the fireworks will go off.   I mean someone is always doing something totally off the wall.  Like when we forgot to pick up Maryann for her own birthday dinner.   Not that we four did not talk to each other, it is just when we talk I guess no one is really listening…OOPS!

Still apologizing for that one.

We argued about who forgot who and who did not tell what to who and who did not use the word HOME…The argument lasted for  the first half hour of the dinner and all the restaurant patrons heard every syllable of the argument.  Keeping it low is not in our makeup.

But the most important thing is, in the end, we all made up.  As you can see Marlene giving Maryann a 60th birthday kiss, this is just what the birthday girl really needed.

Yes, the four of us are like sisters.

We argue, we laugh, we  forget to pick up birthday girl, but then we make -up.ms602ms601

Who said you have to be from the same womb to be a sister.

I have three and they have me.
