Last Sunday, Super Bowl Sunday, my husband and I were invited to my son’s home to watch the game. I on the other hand only went to eat, see watching any game, football, baseball, etc. has never been my idea of a good time. But eating with friends and family that is how I enjoy most Sunday’s, let alone SBS.
We all enjoyed eating hot dogs, with sauerkraut onions, french fries, cole slaw, and a bowl of chili. How’s that for heart healthy!
But Erin and I did wash all of that not so healthy food down with a healthy glass of wine. A positive and a negative should cancel each other out. HA!
The best food that Erin put out to eat was, Karen’s Buffalo Chicken Dip.
This dip was a meal in itself.
Let me just mention that if you like Buffalo Chicken wings dipped in blue cheese you will go cluck, cluck for this dip.
And it is easy to make, remember I like easy.
So I thought I would share Karen’s Chicken Buffalo Dip with our readers.
Here is all you need to do.
Spread cream cheese on the bottom of a casserole dish. Boil about 1 1/2 lb chicken breast for 20 minutes. When cooked shred the chicken and add red hot sauce. Mix.
Be careful, you don’t want to make it toooo hot.
Take the chicken mixture and spread over the cream cheese.
Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the very top and bake @ 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
The best part is you don’t have to wait for the next Super Bowl Sunday to make this dip. It’s a dip for all times.
