Last night my daughter sent me this photo of me from the new Ladies Home Journal. I could not believe it and kept blinking my eyes. Honestly I had forgotten about it. They had sent me a short interview in the beginning of the year and asked what inspires me everyday and other questions. Below is the full statement I sent them.
Life (just waking up) and the wonderful planet we live on inspires me… puts me in awe. Also knowing how much my Higher Power (God ) loves me , loves all of us. When I saw the first moon landing and how beautiful the planet Earth looked from way up there. It made me shiver and it still does to this day. Earth is the most beautiful planet I have ever seen. I just love to look up. A blue sky, the moon at night. When i hear the birds early early in the morning. My daughter inspires me and her 3 beautiful children. (they are growing so fast I want to keep up with them) I still cry from the loss of my dog, Miss Penny. Pets are a blessing from God. My favorite quotes are from the Bible……I will make a path in the wilderness and a river in the dessert….(I know that He will always make a way for me) Another favorite is “This may seem impossible for man, but I tell you with God all things are possible.” I say these two when I start to be afraid of anything and to stop myself from worrying. I say them first thing in the morning walking to the subway to go to work. I try to catch myself when I complain, reminding myself that is time wasted. I love the beach and I also love a picnic. Walking is the best medicine, when I feel down, I get out and go for a walk. I still love the Beatles 🙂 I still love to dance and I’m pretty good at kareoke (i think) I love to look at fashions and am crazy about shoes. I like to watch old movies to look at the clothing and furniture and stuff. Somehow everything reminds of something.
