Macy’s is the place we love to take the kids to see Santa. No one does it better than Macy’s. We take the LIRR and chug-a- chug all the way to New York City.
Happy are we on this Santa Sunday morning.
Taking the 8:35 am train into Manhattan. Not a single complaint was heard, not even my husband boo hoo-ed.
Here we were all together, even my daughter tagged along to see Santa Clause.
As I looked out at my family, I realized, I had a Christmas gift this Santa Sunday. Amazing! Santa was already working his gift giving wonders. My whole family, together! Going to see Santa! A Christmas blessing!
Sunday mornings are not so busy in NYC. Guess most of the people were sleeping late. What a pleasure it was not to play zig, zag, through the crowds that usually are apart of the city streets.
The Empire State Building just seemed so exceptionally tall that day.
But when we got to Santa Land we realized were all the people had gone. TO MACY’S. The sign said, “An hour and half wait to see Santa.”
The kids couldn’t wait to board onto the Santa Land Train, the start of the Santa Land adventure.
Santa’s reindeer are greeting us too!
And Santa asks the question they waited all year long to hear.
“What do you want for Christmas?”
And I get the pin from Santa’s elves.
I now have 7 years of Macy’s Santa Land pins. I look forward to number 8.
