Groovinmoms, along with Groovinmom Bobbi-Ann, was so happy to be invited to the AFA, in Soho, to view “The Art Of John Lennon” It was an art exhibition that showed us a side of John Lennon we did not know too much about. We always knew he was talented but seeing his art work, close up and personal, seemed to open a door to John’s heart and soul.
We got to see his whimsical sketches of himself and Yoko. Some made us laugh some made us wonder but we loved every piece that was displayed.
Here is what is called the karuizawa Series
We could not help but show a little of our Beatlemania when we saw the hand written lyrics of John Lennon.
Everything on exhibition can be purchased.
If I could have I would have bought one of the framed lyrics.
This quote from John just made me remember how profound John Lennon was.
We remembered how devoted John was to his family the last years of his life.
We also remembered the day he was taken away so suddenly.
If you were or still are, as Liz and I are, John Lennon lovers head on down, if you can, to Soho and see the
The Art of John Lennon
But you have to hurry!
The exhibition will end this Sunday October 31st, 2015.
Remember, ” I am he as you are me as we are all together”
Yes, John was the Walrus!
