Pictures of the family are always welcomed. However, I usual am the picture taker, and I am usually the one who is not in them.
This particular family gathering the picture taker was my little Sophie. We had no idea that my little Sophie was taking snap shots of us. Sophie used my i-phone 6 to take her pictures. I-phone cameras are sneaky cameras. No flashing, no clicking sound, nothing that would give us a hint that she was photographing a moment.
And photographing an up close, in your face, moment of us.
I do love the close up shots of Christian. He was eating pistachio nuts from a glass jar. Sneaky up on Christian is not an easy thing to do. He did catch his sister taking his picture, and gave a happy surprised smile.
As for daddy. It appears that daddy had no clue that he was being snapped shot. He was focused on his meal. Never giving a hint, to the camera, that he was a willing subject.
Then there was my close up! Who was I talking to? When I came across my pictures, I thought, delete! But then I realized that these pictures were special shots. See it’s not everyday my granddaughter takes pictures of me. Seriously, she never takes a picture of me, or with me, unless I force her. So for her to take these pictures of me so willing, without any coaxing, was special to me.
Now my little Sophie can play candid camera as much as her little heart desires.
