I recently read an article that said that eating fish at least once a week is a healthy choice. Now fish is not ever on my to cook list because my husband does not like fish. UGH! But when I read that a can of tuna fish qualifies as a weekly fish dish I was super happy because a can of tuna fish my husband will eat… 🙂 So I began to make tuna fish sandwiches at least once a week for dinner. No longer will I only consider eating tuna fish just for lunch. A can of tuna fish will be a staple in my cabinet now that I know it is a healthy dinner meal.
I thought it was a great idea until I realized we were eating the tuna fish with mayonnaise and I was not to happy about that… 🙁
Now I had to figure out a way of eating a can of tuna fish without the added fat of mayonnaise (10g of fat per tbspn) .
Then it hit me. Replace the mayo with HUMMUS! 
This way we can cut down on the fat but not the taste. 

It was a great swish.
The tuna fish and the hummus was a perfect marriage.
Now I can eat tuna fish weekly knowing I have made a healthy choice for me and my husband.
Oh, I didn’t tell my husband that I now make tuna fish with hummus.
Hey, what he doesn’t know will certainly help him.
