I have to admit this was my first ballet. How wonderful was it to be The New York City Ballet rendition of The Nutcracker at the Lincoln Center. I was so excited when my daughter called and suggested it, so excited I decided what a perfect Christmas present this was. I always struggle with gifts and end up giving money or gift cards. A family day at the ballet just seemed right this year.
My sister and mom along with my daughter and her husband and children. Sandra was missing but she was at Disneyland in Orlando, so we understood. But we will get her next time for sure!!
We had wonderful seats and the great thing about David H. Koch Theatre is, there in not a bad seat in the house. What a spectacular afternoon filled with dance and music and a oh so adorable story. The little guy fell asleep but Natalie left the theatre dancing and doing ballet pierrots.
It’s The Nutcracker Season and I hope you get a chance to enjoy this spectacular show and talented cast with your friends and family. It’s the perfect gift.
