My granddaughter had her first solo singing debut. We were all so excited and pleased. We also were very nervous for her. But with hugs from daddy, 
and mommy, her performance was sure to be a cinch. 
The family also came out to give Sophie full support.
Recital was held at the Plattduetsche Park in Franklin Square. It was super, we had wine, dinner, and songs. Yes, we had to sit and listen to other children sing 🎶 and/or play an instrument. No dancing. Yup, we all had an entertaining evening, except for Christian. He couldn’t understand what the fuss was about. I mean this isn’t baseball.
Her first time ever, singing solo. Shakey start but finished well.
Maybe, just maybe, the Music Academy Of Garden City will help Sophie accomplish her dream.
