We had the wonderful experience of lunch at Mozzarella & Vino where in case you don’t know by now, the water buffalo run free!! We were there for lunch and arrived a little early so we had our choice of the outside seating. Lucky for us because within 15 minutes the place a packed outside and in.

While we were looking through the menu, we enjoyed a crisp, cold glass of Prosecco. Cheers!

With the friendly help of the staff we started off with the famous Buffalo Mozzarella trio with tomatoes and a cool and so tasty citrus and avocado salad with fennel, olives in a mint dressing. The famous mozzarella had three distinct flavors and each delicious on their own.  You know we also did a number on the fresh bread and olive oil on the table. Amazing.

We could not make us our mind about the main course and our waiter saw this and after asking us if we were allergic to anything (we are not)  recommended that we let him surprise us. I mean how much fun is that? We both agreed and enjoyed a glass of red wine while we waited.  Out came the Lasagna of the day, filled with fresh pasta, eggplant, zucchini and mushrooms – oh my! With this he also brought us a plate of homemade meatballs.

Everything was fresh and delicious. We thanked our waiter for the excellent choices and we started making plans to come back here with our families. Then for a split second we thought about skipping dessert because we were so full.  Merci looked at me and said “Let’s ask the waiter to surprise us again” What a brain storm. That Merci, she is pretty and smart. We shared the Tiramisu and the Vanilla Panna Cotta with Berries and yes we ate the whole thing.

There was absolutely no room for coffee. Maybe next time 🙂
