If you are like me you still love Disney and Marvel!! I had the pleasure to be my daughters’ guest for a day on Disney Magic and I hope to get back on and enjoy a wonderful trip on sea out of New York City.

Now you and your family get to enjoy them together on a cruise. Perfection!! Marvel Day at Sea will be on seven- and eight-night Disney Magic Bahamian cruises departing from New York on Oct. 6, 14, 28; Nov. 4, 11 and 18, 2017. All will include a stop at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral, Fla., with a day at the Walt Disney World Resort. Marvel Day at Sea will be on one seven-night Canadian Coast cruise departing from New York on Oct. 21, 2017, with stops at Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.

Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and other Marvel Universe Super Heroes are on board for scheduled meet-and-greets and photos.
A brand-new spectacular party fills the upper deck with music, dancing and games.
The deck party culminates in a stunning display of themed pyrotechnics, lighting, sound effects and the largest collection of Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains ever assembled on a cruise ship.
Kids and families summon their Marvel knowledge and enjoy friendly competition during trivia games, covering courageous heroes and fun facts from the Marvel Universe.
For young heroes-in-training, Marvel-themed games, activities and arts and crafts will be offered throughout the day in the Marvel’s Avengers Academy in the Oceaneer Club.

It’s all fun and games until you want to rex and take some time for yourself. That’s when you head over to Senses Spa and Salon. The beautiful people at Senses will take good care of you.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Animator’s Palette Restaurant, one of the many restaurants on board the Disney Magic.

All day family fun at theatre pool and slide!

We took a mixology class at the Keys Lounge and learned how to mix a few cocktails. Fun!!

That is a B-52 we are toasting with. Bottoms Up!

Birthday On The Boardwalk #PacificBlvd #LongBeach @LidoDeli

Marlene wanted to spend the day at Long Beach. Put on your sneakers, she said. Lucky for us the day was a spectacular one for a stroll on the boardwalk. Even though it is Fall we left our jackets in the car and headed for the beach. Pacific Blvd is a most beautiful boardwalk, it has been wonderfully reconstructed after Hurricane Sandy, and today there were lots of people enjoying the glorious day.

We walked for about 2 hours and then we got hungry. Marlene has been telling us about this pastrami sandwich she always enjoys at place Lido Kosher Deli, so that is where we went for a late lunch. We started out with the cole slaw, pickles and knishes. Then came the star of the afternoon that pastrami sandwich. Would you look at that thing!! We each ended up taking half for tomorrow and it was even better the next day. So good.

Our birthday wish for you is that you continue to love life and never stop dreaming. May beauty and happiness surround you, not only on your special day, but always. Happy Birthday!!!
