I recently introduced Organic Whole Fruit Frozen Juice to my grand children.

At first they looked at the tube like,  how could this be a juice?

Sophie’s expression was like, What!  This is fruit?

Plenti Oatmeal Meets Greek Yogurt #yoplait

39y

My go to breakfast during the week is making oatmeal and mixing in some Greek yogurt, I do this most mornings at work. So how happy am I to find Plenti Oatmeal Meets Greek Yogurt in the yogurt aisle.  Loving the variety of flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry, Maple Brown Sugar, Peach (my favorite), Strawberry (another favorite) and Vanilla ( I like this one too) Oh heck, I love them all. Boom!!

Besides being so delicious Plenti Oatmeal is healthy and hearty the 16 grams of whole grain keeps me going all morning. So convenient and portable – ready to eat, no microwave or bowl needed, just a spoon.

With National Nutrition Month in March, there’s no better time to celebrate good food and healthy eating. One easy way to focus on healthy eating this month is by getting back to the basics and consuming simple, plant-based foods. Healthy eating starts with clean ingredients such as House Foods (known for its delicious and nutritious protein packed tofu).

Here is a very simple and yummy way to try tofu for the first time – I add some frozen veggies (optional)

Fettuccine Alfredo

1 pkg House Foods Tofu Shirataki Fettuccine shaped noodle substitute
2 Tbsp heavy cream
1 Tbsp plain non-fat yogurt
1 Tbsp shredded parmesan cheese
dash garlic salt
dash salt and pepper

1. Prepare Tofu Shirataki according to package instructions. Cut into manageable size.
2. Add heavy cream in pan over medium heat. Stir in yogurt and cheese and heat until cheese has melted. Add noodles to pan and mix until well combined with sauce.
3. Season with salt, garlic salt and pepper. Serve hot.
