Wine Has Its Points

My trip to California was a true wine experience.  For the 9 days we were there I must have drank about 2 bottles of wine a day.  It is a common phenomena for Californians to grow grapes behind their homes, you know vineyards.

Check out this house, a vineyard right out back.  Home grown wine!  Why not?
My brother-in-law took us to a couple of wineries.  I love wineries.  One  winery he took us too was located way up,up, up, with a view that was surreal.

We just relaxed and enjoyed the view, along with a  bottle of wine.  I think this is my idea  of heaven. Don’t think that this was just a wine drinking day.  I did learn something about wine.
I noticed that some wines had a number by the name of the wine.  What did this number mean?  It was explained to me that wines are judged and they get numbered with points.  The highest point a wine can get is 100 points, and it is very hard for a wine to get this number awarded to it.  I saw some that had 98 points.  That bottle was only 2 points away from getting 100, now that must be a good wine, I thought.  Of course I did not drink it, for the price was also very good.                                                                                               Did we buy any bottles of wine?  Yes, we did.  The most expensive bottle of wine I have every bought.  The bottle of wine cost $40.00. I convinced myself that I was on vacation and in California, what the heck.
What was the points of the wine I purchased?  Who knows, I just liked the taste of it.   California wines are never point less.

Zero+Zero=Zero Water

Filtering water is probably a good idea.  But ZeroWater is the best idea. Why you ask?  Well, it’s  the filtering system, different from conventional water filter pitchers.

ZeroWater filters remove virtually all contaminants from tap water. A TDS meter (Total Dissolved Solids, or contaminants) is included with every product, giving customers the comfort that ZeroWater’s filtered water is “000.” ZeroWater filter pitchers filter out impurities such as lead, fluoride and copper, among others. And, it is just as effective as reverse osmosis systems, which can be much more expensive, at removing chromium-6.

ZeroWater TDScertified_icon Love that  TDS  meter.  Just fill a cup with tap water and place the meter into the water, then filter it through the pitcher, refill the cup and test it again.  ZERO, ZERO, ZERO.

Love those Zero’s.  This is one low score that is a winner.
