He notices that some of the monsters are just as worried as he is. When it comes to the big Day at school; will Daniel be able to keep his cool?

Daniel’s Dreams, is a beautiful story about a young boy, Daniel, who is shy, kind and tends to worry about things that happen in his life. It’s his dreams that he enjoys for when he goes to sleep at night, his dreams take him on magical adventures where he meets new people and goes to new places. Then one night Daniel meets Dex, who suddenly appears in his bedroom. Dex takes Daniel to a truly magical place called Monster Mountain. Daniel notices that every thing he meets there is very unique. And while there he notices someone who really needs his help. As he helps his friend Daniel begins to learn how to help himself. The ideas behind this book are to raise awareness of mental wellbeing and mental illnesses in children. The underlying story will offer strategies to cope and show symptoms that can be identifiable to both children and parents. However, there is a lovely story that can be enjoyed without having to focus on the mental wellbeing and illness.

Living the Confidence Code by Katty Kay, Claire Shipman & JillEllyn Riley

In their highly anticipated book, Living the Confidence Code, NYT bestselling authors Katty Kay, Claire Shipman and JillEllyn Riley are sharing portraits of decidedly “real” girls, who faced real challenges, real struggles, had real screw-ups, and overcame them. These girls are “work in progress models” and their journeys are relatable and truly inspiring. Shipman and Kay launched the book this morning on TODAY and discussed how young girls need to see the struggle and the failure of their role models to help them learn to build confidence. They also wrote a powerful essay in the New York Times, “Imperfect Girls Make Perfect Models”. Shipman and Kay launched the book on TODAY on February 23rd

Living the Confidence Code builds on the skills that The Confidence Code for Girls taught teens and tweens, to take risks, move past self-doubt, and learn from failure. It shares stories of remarkable girls who have done just that, and achieved their goals, from starting NGOs to leading anti-bullying campaigns to pushing for equality in sports, education, and more. The book can help parents and girls learn more about these inspiring role models, and how every girl can become more confident and achieve her goals.

the most important thing a girl wears, is her confidence.
