Looking to get rid of the what happened to Summer blues? Get yourself and your peeps over to see STOMP! If you are like us you will be tapping your feet and clapping your hands to the non stop beat. You will even find your own beat. Energy is in the house at the Orpheum Theatre. We hopped on the N train heading for 8th Street.
We knew we were in the right place when we saw the groovy mosaic lamp post on 8th and Second Avenue.
We sat down and really did not know what to expect. What we got was a night of percussion, movement and visual comedy, STOMP has created its own form of rhythmic expression: using both everyday household and industrial objects as musical instruments. WOW! The audience participation was so much fun that we fell in love with the cast without them having to say a word.
What a thrill it was to meet two of the amazing cast members at the end of the show. I mean how adorable are these two guys! Stomp is a great show to enjoy with family and friends alike. Start moving!!
