Let’s get dinner first. Whenever we get get together with our sisters we just always seem to incorporate a meal in there. We got tickets to see STOMP and agreed to meet at Artichoke Basille’s Pizza for a quick slice and beer before the show. Merci got us a Groupon deal and it was set.
We ordered a pie and we were all amazed at the size of the slices. They were as big as our heads. So delicious, like artichoke dip, which happens to be my favorite dip. One slice was enough for each of us. The friendly cashier gave us aluminum foil and a plastic bag to wrap up the extra slices and Marlene had a backpack so she went home with the loot.
The best part of the evening was running into a darling friend, who was getting a quick bite before heading to the gym. You know, the saying “Food Tastes Better With Family and Friends” is not only true but its golden too.
