Always love a chance to meet up and enjoy a great meal. So happy we got the invite to have lunch at T-Bar Steak & Lounge in the city. I think the best thing about a restaurant is that you find a lunch crowd enjoying the food. We gobbled up the olive and herb bread sticks as we looked at the menu. Then we decided to leave it up to our waiter to bring us what he felt was the best of the house that day. Good choice on our side!
We started off with the house T-Bar Cosmo and a spicy (how I like it) Ginger Martini. Cheers. For starters, out came a Quinoa & Vegetable Salad, Yellowfin Tuna Tartar and a medley of Sushi on crispy potato. It’s like he read our minds.
We ordered our Prime Aged Bone In Rib Eye medium and it was perfect. So were the Brussel Sprouts in balsamic topped with crispy bacon. The surprise was the delicious pasta in steak Bolognese sauce. Pasta is always a good idea.
After all that you would think there was no room for dessert. Think again. We enjoyed the Brownie with ice cream and the so, so good Banana Parfait. Oh and Merci enjoyed a perfect Cappuccino. Honestly each of these desserts could have easily feed 2 or more people. HUGH.
When you eat good, you feel good.
