Long Island Greek Festival #FamilyFun

Our yearly Greek Festival was here and even though rain was soon to fall, we Spartan-ed on and did not hide.  

Well, we did run under the first available tent which  just happen to be selling beer 🙂

Spinach pie is a must. Speared chicken on a stick is always a hit. Simple and delicious

The surprise of the night were the stuffed peppers!!!

Make sure you go hungry and ready to have a wonderful time.

There was Greek dancing but dancing was not on our plate.  We went for the festival games. Ring around the bottle!  Seriously, I thought, what a waste of money.   No way can we can win!  Wrong!  My daughter with her first throw rings the bottle.   Yeah!  She’s a winner!  Of a bottle of wine.  

To celebrate the win a selfie was in order.   A Greek Festival is not Ancient.

Sperry Big Kids Gamefish Junior Boat Shoe #KidsGroup #backtoschool #WolverineWorldwide

We had a wonderful time at the event hosted by the Kids Group of Wolverine Worldwide, which included Keds, Sperry, Saucony, Merrell and Hush Puppies,  all the fun back-to-school styles from each brand as well as new styles for spring, summer and holiday. We got to see all the new and groovy foot wear for kids and adults for the summer and beyond.

Caleb picked out his favorite shoe, Sperry Big Kids Gamefish Junior Boat Shoe,  which I think are adorable because he said he looks like Daddy now.

Really love the  top slider feature that helps Caleb put on his own shoes just like a big boy and get out there, explore and kick up some dirt!

Playing his guitar inside on a rainy day or ready to follow his own path to fun and adventure this is one happy kid with very happy feet.
