Family, Groovin' Eats, Time of the Season

Christmas Eve 2017 #TastyTuesday

‘Twas the night before Christmas and we were all together at my daughter and her husbands’ home, and we could not keep calm. Christmas was coming!!

The most wonderful time of the year to spend with family. My mom is feeling pretty good these days and had a lot of fun with her great grandchildren. There is no where else I would want to be than with my family. Smiles all around.

Out came the yearly Seafood Pasta and my daughter made her delicious Baked Ziti.  Something for everyone.

And then it was down to the serious business. Opening the gifts.

All that manual labor, unwrapping is hard work you know, so everyone was ready for a break and a little sweetness. My daughter and granddaughter made my famous Snowball Cookies again this year. Yeah!!

Christmas presents come and go but Christmas memories last a lifetime. Wishing a Merry Christmas to all and to all a good-night.

Coffee Beans #Grinded #Blender #Grounded

When I don’t wear my glasses shopping I always end up buying something that is not exactly what I wanted to buy.  Such as coffee that is NOT grinded.   How annoying, it was when I realized that 2 out of the 4 packs of the 8 o’clock coffee purchased were filled with ungrinded  coffee beans (the Whole Bean) 🙁   

How was I going to get the beans grounded up?  I do not have a coffee machine with a bean grinder!

Then I did a web search and found that to get the beans grinded just put them in a blender.  Ha! They knew exactly what I needed to do.  The question was would it really work or was I just going to waste two packs of coffee…

Oh, how happy a blender could make you.  When it turns coffee beans into coffee.
