SKINDINAVIA THE POST MAKEUP FINISHING SPRAY

SKINDINAVIA  is the perfect  makeup finishing spray, perfect for that fresh, just applied, makeup look.

Now Skindinavia is introducing:

THE POST-MAKEUP RECOVERY SPRAY

Wearing makeup is something I do more often than not.  I do love wearing makeup, but of course do not love how makeup can clog pores and strip skin of essential minerals.

But now there’s a spray for that.

SKINDINAVIA’S Post-Makeup Recovery Spray delivers a boost of key nutrients to your after makeup face.  Simply spray on within 5 minutes of cleansing face: this helps reboot radiance, keeps pores clear and prevents breakouts.

Skindinavia’s post-makeup recovery spray has a hero ingredient:  ZINC.   Zinc is a powerhouse mineral that is clinically-proven to promote luminous, clear skin.   Skindinavia’s zinc infused mist clears pores and prevents breakouts after removing makeup.

Here are the flawless facts of Skindinavia Post-Makeup Recovery Spray:

Resets skin by replenishing pH, minerals and vitamins depleted through long-wear makeup use and environmental factors.

Timing optimizes skin barrier function to increase effectiveness and skin-clearing results.

Paraben-free Hypoallerlgenic. Alcohol-free

Hyacinth Flower #Spring #Bloomingflower

Oh, the sign of SPRING!

A flower!

A Hyacinth flower, blooming in a pot.  However, this is not just any pot.  The pot is made of  glass and holds a Hyacinth bulb.

No soil…What a great idea!

Easy way to bring spring into your home!

I saw the lovely flowers in my local Stop n Shop grocery store, floral area.  Loved it.  Now the price was right, $3.99 each,  and the best part this plant needed minimal  care

Buying three Hyacinth, for my window sill, was an easy decision.

One for each window pane totally worked for me.  The aroma that emanated from the Hyacinth  was instantly noticed as you approached the kitchen window.  These flowers brought a touch of the outdoors indoors.

A garden of  pleasures right in my home.

I loved bringing SPRING into my home, and leaving old man winter outside.  Ha!  Take that Mr. Winter.

But then the flowers started to dry up.

I knew it was time to snipe them off, as I did with great regret.  However,  after snipping off the flower I noticed that even without the flower my  Hyacinth plants looked good.   The Hyacinth  green leaves, that the flower left behind, still exuded the air of spring.

Well, spring is not officially here, but the Hyacinth don’t know that.

Animal Colors and More by Katie Viggers #bookworm @POWkidsbooks

Can you name all the colors?  My little guy loved going through this amazing book and  naming all  of animals and their color.  Red. Blue. Grey. All the colors! All the animals!   We went through this adorable book  over and over again. Animal Colors and more from POW! Kids Books is so much fun for the whole family.

Hours of showing each other all the colors in the book and the animals that matched.

Animal Colors and More is the third book in Katie’s Animal series. Here a herd of friendly creatures teach children the different colors and patterns found in the animal world. Charming, vivid illustrations bring nature to life with both realism and whimsy. Keep an eye out for a few cheeky animals that are trying to trick you, see if you can work out who they are!  Available March 7, 2017

IL Bacco Ristorante Italian Restaurant #Celebration

This year, 2017, will be the year that will usher in the grand age of 65 for some very close friends.  The first one to turn the big 65 is my dear friend Pattie, who has a January birthday.  Ms. Pattie starts the birthday ball rolling.  Now to celebrate this “I can’t believe I’m 65!”

Here she sits, Ms. Pattie, the birthday girl (on the left) with her sister (on the right, of her left).  It was her sister who gathered the grand crew and suggested  we go to IL Bacco Ristorante Italiano Restaurant in Little Neck, NY.

My favorite part of the dinner was the bread and cheese, placed on the table as a pre-dinner treat.   I could have made the bread and cheese my main meal, the cheese was cut off the right block.   But we did have to order the main dinner.

Chicken Franchise and Veal Franchise was ordered and even though these dishes were not listed on the main menu, Il Bracco had no problem completing the request.

Il Bacco had specials of the evening, which we ordered, such as a sumptuous  SwordFish, a Risotto dish swimming in a white sauce and covered with shrimp and calamari.

And so we ate.

We sang Happy Birthday, after the one candled cake was brought to the table.  I don’t think Pattie wanted to see more than one candle on her birthday dessert.

Well, here we are.

We always have plenty to talk about, always plenty of laughs, and as always the last group to leave Il Bacco.

The night was not totally complete, you see, two of the grand crew couldn’t join us 🙁

Yes, they missed the fun, and we missed them.

Till the next celebration.

2017 has just begun.
