Picture Portrait #Summer #Standtogether @Walgreens

It’s not ever easy to take a photo.  After every click of a camera the person/persons always ask to see the photo to give their – OK, this isn’t too bad – approval.  And I am one of them.

However, this past summer as the family bathed on a beach in the Hampton’s this picture was taken.

As soon as I saw the photo I knew how perfect the photo was.  Bathing beauties we are not, but then, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I saw the beauty that emanated from each and every one of us in this beach photo.  Off to Walgreen’s I went, to have this photo printed and framed.   They say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”  Well, they haven’t met the women in my family.

Wine Clutch #Insulated #Wine

Gifts are always wonderful to give and receive and this Christmas I received some wonderful gift, however the gift that was the eye popper, for me, was the Insulated Wine Clutch.

At first it appeared to be just an ordinary bag.  Then, it was pointed out that this bag was not an ordinary bag it was an Insulated Wine Clutch bag.  Huh?  A wine clutch bag?  Oh! What a novel idea!  It’s a bag that is specifically designed to tote a bottle of wine. Image result for bottle of wine

Wine Clutch bag is thermal insulated to keep your wine and your cheese cool.  Yes, cheese!  What’s a bottle of red without a piece of cheese, I say.

A compartment that holds a wine bottle opener, how convenient!

What a classy way to tote a bottle of wine to a favorite BYOB restaurant or a picnic lunch.

  Looks  like a fashionable handbag.

Who could guess what this handbag holds?

Wine can be optional!

Comes in many colors and designs

If you like wine (like I do) you will love this

Insulated Wine Clutch bag

If you need a gift that will make a wine connoisseur smile 🙂 then the Insulted Wine Clutch is the gift.

Patrick Francis Ireland #whatshewore #wearwhatyoulike

My daughter and her husband celebrated his 40 birthday in the Emerald Isle – Ireland.  They came back with wonderful stories about how beautiful the country is. How beautiful the  people are inside and out. They might have mentioned the Guinness factory too. Ha!! for sure.

Lucky me got this beautiful Patrick Francis Ireland Chunky Aran Snood and Headband. Oh so soft and so comfy cozy, love them and so happy to have them in this frigid winter. Be sure to keep your ears covered. These winter essentials will help me brave the cold. Perfect pick!

Christmas Eve In Pajamas

This year we celebrated Christmas Eve in our pajamas, a change up from the Ugly Christmas Sweater of last year. We share the night at my daughters’ home. This is us trying to get a good photo, it took a couple of tries but in the end I think we got a good one. What do you think?

We were all comfy cozy in our PJs’, honestly I think it was a great idea and the kids looked so cute. The grown ups looked pretty cute too. Everyone was wearing brand new pajamas, what a dreamy feeling.

The traditional meal for Christmas Eve at our house is a Seafood Pasta a salad and some fresh Italian bread. My daughter makes a wicked baked macaroni dish for the kids and who ever does not like seafood. There was one 🙂 and we love him anyway.

The favorite part of the evening is opening the gifts. The kids ask all night long “When are we opening the gifts”? I just love watching them open up the gifts and throwing around the wrapping paper and getting so excited. The boys loved the walkie talkie set “Hello….Hello” Please don’t ask me what else they got because I haven’t got a clue.

Lots of home made goodies this year. My granddaughter made Snow Ball Cookies just like her mom used to make as a little girl. Veronica made these amazing peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that we all went crazy for, love the way she decorated them!!! Finally we got the family group photo we were aiming for all night long.

The best gift is the family wrapped up with each other. Peace to you at Christmas and all through the year.
