Did You Know

Happy New Year #2016

It’s here 2016!

It’s time for a resolution.  I have decided that my resolution is not to give up something but to do something.  But then I ask myself will I really keep doing what I said I would do?  Or will I just not do the something I resolved to do.  I kinda know what will happen,…here’s how I think it will go.

First few days of the new year I will do what I set out to do.  As the second week approaches I will begin to do less of what I wanted to do.  Then comes the end of January and I really begin not do what I need to do.  Till little by little the doing resolution becomes more like a not doing resolution.

So now I have resolved not to have a resolution.

This sets me free I can just be me.

Welcome 2016!

Happy New Year!

#HoverBoards It’s Hot!

Hover boards were the hottest thing this Christmas.  And when I say hot I mean like catch fire hot! We had ordered two for the grand kids and then we began to hear the not so good news about these must have hover boards…

I wanted to take them back but my daughter-in-law  would not hear of it.  “It’s what the kids want,” that ended that conversation.  1

As soon as they opened the gift they immediately began to ride this hover boards…all around my home.  Have to say the kids took to it pretty quickly.  030812_pam_dawber_now_fullChristian’s was red and Sophie’s was white…same item different color.  Of course that did not solve any problem.  Christian ended up wanting the white one not the red one.  Oy vey !  No matter what they always want what the other one has…can’t win.  10204_2

But all in all Christian settled with red and just kept hovering around the kitchen.  I was not to pleased with this activity but heck it was Christmas and they were really enjoying these toys.  IMG_3706

Now we had big kids riding the boards.  Sorry, Erica,Santa did not get you a hover board this Christmas.   The Hover Board was a success.  They did not catch fire.

So Grandma and Grandpa made our grand kids hover happy.

When swim lesson became more about trying to keep goggles on than actually swimming, a dad decided he needed to help.  Normal goggles pull out hair, create that Dumbo ear look, push on eyes, and water can seep into them as kids splash around. It takes the fun out of watching kids learn to swim. Frogglez Goggles will stay on without the stress.  Thanks to  Made by my Dad™  Frogglez Goggles was born. The comfortable swim goggles for kids patented design comes in pink, purple, green and blue.
