The world of Pumpkinheads is a learning experience.  These award winning books focus on social and emotional development.  Their series aims to help little ones, build awareness of their feelings along with learning from others.

Take Pumpkinheads Peanuts’ MistakeIMG_3585, this is a heart warming story about a dog named Peanut who belongs to a little girl named Carmin.  In this story Peanut makes a mistake and Carmine helps Peanut learn a lesson from his mistake.

Then there is Pumpkinheads IMAGINE.  A story about how the Pumpkinheads used their imagination during play.  “Imagine and dream, play and learn. Who will you be?”

And who are the Pumpkinheads?  Well there’s  Sage, Lulu, Ella, Danza, Cameron, Xavy, and Carmin..

The interesting thing out Pumpkinheads Leaning Through Play is the stories don’t just end.

Reading Pumpkinheads to my grandchildren is fun. But reading Pumpkinheads Learning Through Play is a learning experience.

I love Baked Apples and we went apple picking a while back and I found this great recipe to make them in a microwave. Here is the quick and easy recipe. You and your family are going to love this one!

1-You’ll need apples, your favorite oatmeal, and a little butter.

2- Carefully core the apples and place a little bit of oatmeal inside and a dab of butter on top.

3- Cook in the microwave for 3 minutes (covered) & ENJOY – do not overcook. be careful, they are very hot, let cool for 10 minutes

I found Caillou  celebrating his 25th Anniversary at the Imports Dragon station. How adorable are those Shopkins pillows!! They will be debuting their new NHL Figures line this fall (now).

My husband favorite new StarKist Tuna Creations is Hot Buffalo Tuna.  Who needs hot buffalo wings, now that we have healthy StarKist  Tuna Creation Hot Buffalo Tuna

 

I always love StarKist Tuna Creations for lunch.

Buffalo tuna wrap will be on the menu this week…YUM!!!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pouch (2.6 oz.) StarKist Tuna Creations® Hot Buffalo Style
  • 2 Tbsp. minced celery
  • 2 tsp. crumbled blue cheese
  • 1, 6-8 inch flour tortilla
  • ¼ cup shredded lettuce

Directions:

  • Place tuna in a small bowl. Mix in celery and blue cheese.
  • Place tortilla on plate. Place tuna mixture in center of the tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce.
  • Fold ends over toward the center. Wrap sides tightly in a roll. Slice in half.
