The Ugly Mittens That Saved Winter – Alki’i Suede Palm 3M Thinsulate

mittens

My 2015 New Year Resolution is to walk to work and back everyday when possible. That’s 30 minutes one way twice a day, so long as it is not raining. Even though is is pretty cold in the a.m. here in NY I start to warm up after 5 minutes of brisk walking. Except for my hands, just cannot  get them warm, until I got these Alki’i Thermal Mittens. Now my hands are warm and they stay warm as long as I am walking to and from work. I admit they are not the prettiest mittens in town, but they do their job.  Happy!!

Soft Vibrating Neck Wrap Massager

neckwrapmassage

A Neck Wrap Massager is an item I would never have thought to buy.  Not something I would want to spend my money on.  Not for me.  Not that I couldn’t use a massage on my neck.

I do get neck tension pain and at times I wake up with a stiff neck.  But still I  would never buy a Neck Wrap Massage.

Then this Christmas Kris Kringle gave me a gift, and guess what the gift was?  Yes, you’r right.  A Neck Wrap Massage!  A soon as I looked at the gift I knew this was a re-gift-er.  My mother could use it.

But then my boss made me take it out and try it.  I wrap this neck wrap massage around my neck, turned it on, and began to immediately enjoy the small quick vibrations that emanated from this wrap.  Oh, how my neck began to feel soooo relaxed.

Now my bed time ritual is to wrap my massager around my neck and relax.  Fifteen minutes that is all it takes to say goodbye to the daily stress.  I am wrapping as I type this post….

Bunny’s First Spring by Sally Lloyd-Jones

bunnyspring

Bunny’s First Spring is a book about  a  rabbit.  A rabbit who was born just as spring had sprung.  A rabbit who sees the world from birth as beautiful as it can ever be but then as  winter sets in the rabbit begins to see his world slowly dye away.

The rabbit cannot understand why his earth is dying.  Until spring comes again and he (rabbit) begins to see a renewal of life.

Bunny’s First Spring by Sally Lloyd-Jones is a wonderful story of life starting new.

 A story of hope.

Wonderfully illustrated by Award winning artist David McPahil.  Bunny’s First Spring is a book every child will enjoy reading because the book is about a promise of new life. Bunny’s First Spring reminded me of what spring represents.  Gods promise of  new life.
