The grand kids are out of school!  Happy they are  that their VACATION has started. NO more school days, at least for the next few months.The first day of their summer vacation they wanted to go to Rath Park.  Rath Park is a nice park with a  community pool, it was the pool they wanted.  When I entered the park it brought back my memories of bringing my children at their age here. Oh, do I miss those times.   Since it was lunch time Sophie and Christian wanted pizza, and they wanted to  eat their pizza  at the park.  So grandma picked up Carmella’s pizza, and off we went to Rath Park.  We sat at the park’s picnic table to enjoy the meal.

After they ate  they jumped up and headed towards the pool.    Well,  the pool was the main reason we went to Rath,  I paid the entrance fee and inside we went.At the pool the grand kids met some of their school chums and the splashing fun began.  As they played I sat under the awing hiding from the  sun.The splashing fun did not last long within 15 minuets they decided that the pool water was to cold and no longer wanted to be in it.   As the tempurture read 90 degrees, my grand kids wrap themselves up in beach towels because they were cold.  Hey, it’s the pool guys and you wanted to go to the pool!!!  Yup, they wanted the pool .  Their friends kept on pooling but they just sat wrapped up in their beach towels looking like two misplaced children.  Yes, summer is here and the grand kids are ready to have some summer fun ,except next time, it won’t be at Rath Park’s pool.
