The Pool Party

Yesterday we were at a pool party.  Yes, the weather could have been a little better. But the company, music ,  food and the day was great!! Perfect.

Voli Vodka – This Summer Cocktail Mixer

july5146
This summer we are enjoying  Voli Vokda. Merci and I both really like the Raspberry Cocoa. Merci sister Marlene  picked the Espresso Vanilla. The other great flavors are Mango Coconut, Lemon Orange Vanilla and Original.

Marlene made a batch of fresh lemonade, we each picked our favorite flavor and  mix up a delicious cocktail. Topped off with a few ice cubes.  Could not have been easier 🙂

Here is Marlene wearing her Voli Vodka sunglasses sipping away.

Claw Foot Tub Dreaming

I have been thinking of updating my bathroom.

I thought how nice would it be to have a Jacuzzi tub in my little bathroom…I pictured my self covered up to my ears in swirling water.  A pillow under my head.  Eyes closed. Me basking in the sound of  humming water that is bubbling all over me.

Then I came across this picture.

I took this picture when Liz and I attended a Hershey’s sponsored event

A tub with claw feet!      Then I remembered how much I love these old vintage tubs.

This is it!

This is the tub!

To heck with modern noisy Jacuzzi tubs.

    It’s settled!

A claw foot tub is the tub for me.

So when Sophie came to my house, right after being in our community pool, I thought this would be a great time to have her try Fairy Tales hair products.                get-attachment1 Sophie questioned me about the Fairy Tales hair product.  Why  should she use this  in her hair.

I hate it when they get to the age of questioning everything you want to do for them 🙁

Like I would do anything that would be bad for her…Really, Sophie!get-attachment3

After a few minutes of coaxing, and pleading, Sophie finally accepted Fairy Tales Hair product and began to spray the Rosemary Repel Conditioning Spray onto her hair.

End result was smooth dangled hair.

Sophie has very thick hair and believe me getting it this smooth without her screaming, ” I don’t like you Nanna” was truly amazing.

Fairy Tales Hair Conditioning Spray has organic herbs of  pure rosemary, citronella and tea tree oils and peppermint which soften, detangle, and eliminate frizzies.  I cannot tell you the fragrance that emanated from her hair.    Best of all Fairy Tales Hair Products help prevent head lice.  That’s like no lice will make a home in your child’s  beautiful mane.

Sophie is happy…So am I.

Now she wants to try Fairy Tales Shampoo and Creme Conditioner.

Now this is no fairy tale.

Senior Discount at Trade Fair – Who Knew?

seniordiscount

This morning  I went to Trade Fair before going to work. I needed some breakfast items, like yogurt, blueberries, walnuts and ground cinnamon. When I got to the cashier (who was a young woman) she asked me, “Senior”? She caught me off guard and I asked what does Senior mean?  I thought she would say 65, but she said 62. It took a few seconds to remember that I was in deed 62. Yes. She then gave me the 10% discount.  This was my first time and I liked it. 🙂  I told everyone at work and have to say I really enjoyed my breakfast this morning.
