The Boys Meet Mr. Jones: new children’s book recognizing historical hero by Eric Anderson, who is a high school English teacher at Rocky Mountain High School in Cowley, WY, recently wrote and illustrated a children’s book. The first in a planned series. The series highlights lesser known, yet influential historical figures beginning with accomplished African American inventor Frederick McKinley Jones.
With a humorous glossary written by Boogee, new historical figures in each story, and
underlying STEM lessons, The Adventures of Pook and Boogee offers educational literature to
audiences ages 7-10. The second book in the series will feature resourceful war hero, Betsy
Hagar.
